Surfaces must be dry, free of dirt or loose debris, free of oils, greases or any substances that will interfere with bond. All repairs of damage or defects must be made prior to product application. Refer to the POLAPRIME Data Sheet for information regarding selection of primer, if necessary.
POLAROOF NW is applied straight out of the can after 2 minutes of gentle low speed mixing or stirring. Apply the product using brush, roller or spray technique. If airless spray application is desired, a custom blended POLAROOF NW version is available to be used with the following equipment specifications: Ratio 30:1 or 40:1/2" hose and a #35 or larger tip. A shorter hose length will increase output at the tip. Apply POLAROOF NW in a smooth, even fashion to achieve a uniform coating thickness in either one or two coats as desired.
Clean tools and equipment with xylene or toluene solvent. Do not allow any solvent to contact POLAROOF NW that has been applied.
Do not apply to wet or frozen surfaces that are saturated with moisture. Proper surface preparation and priming where indicated are important to product performance. Shelf life is 1 year when stored in a factory sealed container between 45°F and 90°F. This product is flammable. Keep away from sources of heat, sparks, and flames. Use only EP rated equipment.
If a surface becomes dirty, wash with a mild soapy water solution. If an area becomes nicked or cut, re coat with POLAROOF NW.
